Dehydration can zap energy levels so instead of reaching for coffee, try water with lemon or some herbal tea

Sitting for extended periods of time can wreak havoc on your body and mental state. Stretching increases blood flow to help give an energy boost

3. One-minute meditation

Sounds like it would only make you sleepier but stepping a away to relax your mind and taking some time to breathe, also promotes circulation to boost energy

This person may want excessive along time because they fear getting attached will lead to them losing themselves in their partner.

This person may view you when you express your emotions as being really intense or overdramatic and often will sometimes call you out on it so you second-guess what you’re actually feeling.

Oh no!

Do you find yourself getting upset or angry quickly? Anger is a natural feeling but we have been trained to believe the myth that we aren’t suppose to be angry. That’s not true. It’s okay to get upset but what we do with that anger is important.

Let’s chat about some myths about anger.

•Anger is a negative emotion

It's not bad to feel angry. Anger is a normal emotion. Many people use emotion to make great changes in their lives and the lives of others. Think about if you were to get angry that a student wasn't able to pay for lunch and therefore couldn't eat. That anger can fuel you to do something good and possibly get those rules changed in the school.

•Ignoring anger

Suppressing anger or denying your emotions isn't healthy. It can actually make things worse such as cause depression or have issues related to hypertension.

•Anger is destructive

It’s can seem that being angry is a destructive emotion but that’s because you’ve seen or witnessed someone that was angry being destructive. There are better options to address anger other than destruction.

•Some people are just born with it

Stuck feelings of anger tend to be caused by unseen or forgotten incidents and have nothing to do with the “reasons” we tell ourselves we are angry.

•Anger should be controlled

We can't control our emotions. Those are natural. What we can control is how we respond to the emotion. For example, yelling, throwing things, or slamming doors may not be the best response to feeling that emotion.

❤️ Healthier ways to deal with anger

•Practice identifying when you are angry or disappointed

•Pay attention to early warning signs that you’re getting angry so you may take a break to cool down before responding

•Problem solve after you have calmed down to get a more clearer resolution

•Try journaling (discussed this in the previous text), exercising, even watching some funny to help you get to a place of calm
