She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate in the state of North Carolina, as well as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. She has experience working with transition-aged youth with disabilities and adults with disabilities to become gainfully employed through vocational rehabilitation services. She also has experience providing counseling supports to individuals with substance use disorders, as well as individuals with mental health diagnoses. With a strong interest in research regarding Impostor Phenomenon, Dr. Battle is passionate in assisting individuals in owning their uniqueness through authentic counseling supports to deconstruct and reconstruct their identity, as she aims to help individuals identify the feelings of fraudulence they have taken on as their self-identity.
