Destini is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Private Independent Practitioner with an undergraduate degree in Biology and Psychology from Jacksonville State University and a graduate degree in Social Work from Alabama A&M University. Destini has post graduate training in cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma informed/trauma responsive care and is a certified Juvenile Sexual Offending Counselor. Her personal journey and professional experience led her to creating Love & Associates, LLC in an effort to assist others in healing from a holistic perspective. Destini is passionate about serving others and seeing the perfect will of God manifested in the earth. Destini’s most valued endeavors include being a follower of Jesus, a wife, and mother as they are the largest testament of God’s love, favor, grace, and healing in her life.
Chalice Nelson, LPC, NCC is a board certified and licensed professional counselor residing within the Greater Atlanta area. Born and raised in upstate New York, she grew up within a family of creative beings which supported her in being able to have a variety of experiences to tap into her own creative abilities. Upon attending Florida A & M University, Chalice's curiosity for the mind led to her obtaining a degree in psychology and she found a way to marry her passion for mental health and her creative abilities while obtaining her Masters in Mental Health Counseling at St. John Fisher College. Having over 10 years in the mental health field, Chalice Nelson has developed creative ways to support people in enhancing their mental wellbeing through individual counseling, self-care coaching, workshops, employee wellness events and more. Throughout the work she has done, it has been a privilege and joy to be able to guide individuals and groups on paths to identify their strengths and tap into their creative abilities to lead them to greater self-awareness, authenticity, freedom and cohesiveness. She is the owner of The Conscious Queen, a mental wellness forum that provides a variety of self-care tools and resources for the Black and Brown community. Chalice Nelson has a private practice providing online counseling to clients in the states of Georgia and Florida and as she is currently working to obtain a degree in Integrative Medicine, she is looking forward to having more to contribute regarding enhancing the overall wellness of her community.
Jazmin Kylene is a journalist and certified spiritual counselor. Guided by her purpose, she created the conscious media platform Lali La Luna TV, seen in over four million homes on all streaming services. She has collaborated with outlets like Black Girl In Om and Ethel's Club, led Sacred Healing Circles, designed a line of Color Healing merchandise, and currently provides one-on-one natal chart and tarot readings, spiritual counseling sessions, and reiki healing. She has furthered her studies with the Holistic Arts Institute and Oak Astrology School.
Brandy Stinson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Georgia as well as New York State. With over 12 years of experience, she has provided mental health assessments and counseling in a variety of settings including jails, courts, in-home, schools and inpatient hospitalization. Her areas of specialty are treating Mood Disorders and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). She received her Bachelor of Science degrees in Criminology and Psychology from The Florida State University, as her Master of Clinical Social Work from The Florida State University. Stinson is also the founder of a nonprofit organization called Pearls of Esther, Inc. Her passion is seeing individuals come to the full knowledge of their identity despite a challenging past and walk out their purpose.
Demorise Barnes is the CEO and founder of New Mercy Behavioral Health LLC. She has extensive experience in working with trauma victims, working with individuals that have a dual diagnosis and individuals who have substance abuse addictions. Demorise infuses her natural abilities with evidence-based practice therapy to make sound decisions about the care for clients. She is intrinsically and culturally competent and adept in working in the African American community as well as individuals of varied ethnicities and cultural backgrounds. Demorise demonstrates exemplary professionalism and compassion for others and continues to search for new avenues to provide the best care for her clients. She is extremely compassionate about helping others and ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary tools to heal completely so that they can live life happy, healthy and whole.
